Calling on Students

Put students' names on one end of a popsicle stick and color the other end with paint or a marker. Put the sticks in a can and pull out names to answer questions. Students never know when their name will be pulled out so they need to pay attention to what is going on. Once a name has been pulled, put the popsicle stick in upside down.
